Terms and Conditions for SafarLink

Welcome to SafarLink. By using the SafarLink mobile application, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
SafarLink is an intercity ride-sharing platform in Pakistan that connects drivers and passengers travelling between cities.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using SafarLink, you agree to follow these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Nature of Service
SafarLink provides a digital platform where:
- Drivers can post intercity rides
- Passengers can request seats in available rides
- Drivers can accept or decline booking requests
- Users can view ride details, booking status, and ratings
SafarLink is a platform provider and does not directly operate vehicles or provide transportation services.
3. User Eligibility
Users must provide accurate information during registration.
Drivers may be required to submit verification documents, including CNIC, driving license, vehicle registration card, and vehicle photo.
SafarLink may approve, reject, suspend, or remove driver accounts if verification requirements are not met.
4. User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
- Provide correct account and ride information
- Use the app lawfully and respectfully
- Avoid fake bookings, fake rides, fraud, abuse, or misuse
- Avoid sharing harmful, offensive, misleading, or illegal content
- Keep their account login details secure
- Follow applicable traffic, transport, and safety laws in Pakistan
5. Driver Responsibilities
Drivers are responsible for:
- Having a valid CNIC, driving license, and vehicle documents
- Keeping vehicle information accurate
- Ensuring their vehicle is roadworthy
- Driving safely and legally
- Following the agreed ride time, route, and pickup details
- Communicating important ride instructions clearly
- Not posting false or misleading rides
SafarLink may restrict or remove drivers who violate safety or trust standards.
6. Passenger Responsibilities
Passengers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate booking information
- Reaching the pickup point on time
- Respecting the driver, vehicle, and other passengers
- Avoiding unsafe, illegal, or abusive behavior
- Not making fake or repeated unserious booking requests
7. Ride Changes and Cancellations
Drivers may edit or cancel rides where allowed by the app.
Passengers may cancel bookings where allowed by the app.
Users should avoid last-minute cancellations unless necessary.
SafarLink may record cancellations and booking behavior to improve safety and platform trust.
8. Payments, Fares, and Platform Fees
SafarLink may display ride prices or seat fares inside the app.
Unless an in-app payment system is introduced, payment handling may take place directly between driver and passenger.
SafarLink may introduce a platform fee, service charge, commission, or other charges in the future. If such charges are introduced, users will be informed through the app or updated terms before they apply.
SafarLink is not responsible for disputes related to cash or direct payments between users unless specifically stated otherwise in the app.
9. Ratings and Reviews
Users may rate each other after completed rides.
Ratings and reviews must be honest, respectful, and based on real ride experiences.
SafarLink may remove ratings or reviews that are fake, abusive, misleading, or violate platform rules.
10. Safety Disclaimer
SafarLink aims to improve trust through account and driver verification, but we cannot guarantee the behavior, actions, or safety of any user.
Users should take reasonable safety precautions before and during travel.
In case of emergency, users should contact local authorities immediately.
11. Prohibited Activities
Users must not:
- Create fake accounts
- Upload false documents
- Post fake rides
- Make fake bookings
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or discriminate against others
- Share illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Attempt to hack, damage, or misuse the app
- Use SafarLink for illegal transport, smuggling, fraud, or unsafe activity
12. Account Suspension or Termination
SafarLink may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms
- Submit false information
- Receive serious complaints
- Misuse the platform
- Create safety, legal, or fraud risks
13. Third-Party Services
SafarLink may use trusted third-party service providers for hosting, authentication, storage, notifications, analytics, and other app operations.
Use of SafarLink may also be subject to third-party service terms where applicable.
14. Limitation of Liability
SafarLink is provided as a platform to connect drivers and passengers.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, SafarLink is not responsible for:
- Accidents, delays, losses, injuries, or damages during travel
- User behavior or disputes
- Direct cash/payment disputes between users
- Incorrect information provided by users
- Service interruptions or technical issues
15. Changes to the Service
SafarLink may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app at any time.
We may also update these Terms when needed.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
Continued use of SafarLink means you accept the updated terms.
